Puppies

We are not breeders in the sense that we "raise" puppies for sale. Occasionally, we will produce a litter if we feel that the mating will improve the breed. Some of those puppies may go to pet homes, if it is determined that they are not suitable for the show ring. Any puppies going to pet homes will be sold with spay/neuter contracts or be neutered before being placed, with Limited Registration. No exceptions!

Please visit the AKC website for a full description of Limited Registration. A dog with Limited Registration can compete in any AKC event except Conformation.

If you are wanting to add a Pembroke Welsh Corgi to your family, please feel free to contact us. We will be happy to put you in touch with members of the North Texas Pembroke Welsh Corgi Fanciers who may have puppies available. Our club also has a wonderful Rescue Committee and many of the dogs needing homes are featured on their web site.

Puppy Updates (February 1, 2006)

We are proud to announce the birth of the first Arrwyn Corgis litter. We have gone with a constellation theme. Betsy has delivered 4 beautiful puppies, two males and two females. The first born, Leo, is named after Betsy's breeder, N. Leon Duffer. Even though we live half way across the country, he has been a tremendous friend and mentor. We are currently showing Hercules with plans to show his sister Cassie when he is finished.

Puppy Updates (April 6, 2007)

Betsy has presented us with another fine litter, this time sired by Ch Foxlor Shafrhaus Sammy Sosa. Originally we had planned on names using the word "kit" as in fox kits. We have come up with some very clever twists but haven't been able to make any final decisions. We have 3 boys and 1 girl, all with strong sable markings. The bone on this litter is to die for with movement and attitude to match. We took one male and the female to Little Rock for the puppy match. They were excellent at gaiting and on the table, but we are still working on the free stack. They were the main attraction both nights.
