October 1 and 2, 2005. A very warm thanks to Judge Nancy Werder for awarding Dallas with his first Group win. And Joan Guertin for breeding and co-owning Dallas. She has been a terrific mentor and friend. |

December 5, 2005 Dallas won his very first AKC points in Garland, Texas. Judge Mrs Myron "Corky" Gauger (pictured here) awarded him Best of Winners for a total of 2 points. Two weeks later, he took Reserve in Elk City, Oklahoma with handler Linda Williams. It was his first experience with someone other than myself handling him. He was adaptive and performed very well for her. I enjoyed watching him from ring side, it was my first time to see him from this angle.

May 14, 2006 Dallas gave me a wonderful Mother's Day gift with his very first Major, gaining 3 points. We want to thank Judge Barbara Ann Brooks, who awarded Dallas his Best of Winners ribbon in Denton, Texas. Wow, what fun we are having with Dallas! |

October 8, 2006 At his first outdoor show, since the Nationals in September '05, Dallas took Winner's Dog to earn another point from Mr Norman L Herbel. He was in high spirits and really showed his character to full advantage. What a grand young man he is becoming!!! |

November 5, 2006 Tulsa always has a great show with a good turn out of quality competition. On Friday, Dallas took reserve which was a 5 point major. Sunday, the major broke but was still worth 2 points. Dallas was a happy camper that day and really showed himself well to Ms. Linda l. Robey. |

June 16 , 2007 For the first time since I started showing our Cocker Spaniel, we had both breeds in the ring at the exact same time. Luckily for me, my good friend Barbara Wiener, a professional handler, was availabe and agreed to handle Dallas for me. He instantly liked her and together they won Best of Winners under Judge Peggy Conger. The very first time Dallas won he defeated the dog that Barbara was handling that day (among others of course). Knowing that I had very little experience, she came back and assisted us in getting posed for our first win picture. She is very generous of her time and talents. We look forward to seeing Barbara and Dallas team up again. |

October 13, 2007 Canton Texas is a fun show site. Lots of antique shops and a huge flea market once a month. We go every year because it is just a few hours from home. Dallas earned his second major there this year under Judge Patricia A Mann. Barbara teamed up with Dallas again and they were so impressive together. It brought tears to my eyes to see what a beautiful dog Dallas has become. |

December 2, 2007 Tulsa Oklahoma has proven to be a good show site for Dallas. He took his third major and became a champion, by going Best of Winners under Judge Paula Hartinger. Thanks to Barbara Weiner for helping us to wrap up 2007 with a brand new championship. |
