"Belle"

When the Corgi description was written, they must have had Belle in mind. She is a beautiful, graceful girl with an impish character and a surplus of intelligence.

Just look at that gait!

Even though she had left her coat at home, she took Winner's Bitch3 times this weekend.

We have been so fortunate to have Belle in our lives. She is such a joyful, graceful creature.

I want to thank the judge, Dr. Fred C. Bock (pictured here), for the win on Sunday and judges, Theresa Werder and Gene Reynolds for the two wins on Saturday. They each looked beyond the fact that her coat had blown and gave credit to her conformation.

I would especially like to thank her breeder, N. Leon Duffer. He truly loves his dogs and took great care in his breeding program. I am honored that he has allowed us not one, but two of his lovely girls.

Belle had a stellar day in Norman, Oklahoma. She took Group 1 in the first show and Group II in the second show. Both judges commented how she was the epitome of Corgi movement. Many compliments were made to her excellent muscle tone and conformation.

In the second show she defeated two champions, one AKC and one UKC, to take the Best of Breed win. Wow, a championship in just two weekends! Now we can focus on her AKC title.

In Bossier City / Shreveport, we took a "gamble" going to a smaller show and it "paid" off.

On Friday, April 21 she got her first Winners Bitch but no points.

On Monday, April 24 she took Best of Winners to take the boys' single point. Hooray, her very first AKC point!

AND NOTICE THAT SHE IS NAKED AGAIN!
