Bee Happy
Everyone should find a way to do the things that make them happy. A well balanced life includes a happy home, enjoyable work environment and a willingness to play.
That is how and why Bee On The Web was created. I found myself in a position that no longer challenged me, and placed a strain on me emotionally. I was not able to maintain a happy home or find time to play with my family. It was time to move on, but what to do?The "pursuit of happiness" is not a selfish principle, but a basic necessity. Now I have a web site that celebrates all my loves.
Pembroke Welsh Corgis
We purchased our first Pembroke almost nine years ago and have been in love with the breed every since. When we returned to the Show Ring in the fall of 2003 it was with a Corgi. We have been blessed with consistent, if moderate, success in the ring. We have now earned six championships and two herding instinct certificates, but the best part of showing our dogs is the time spent with them and watching their enjoyment of this extra measure of attention. Another great pleasure of the show ring is the wonderful friends met along the way. Of course competition is strong, but we have found that the more successful an exhibitor is the more willing they are to share their knowledge and experience. We joined the North Texas Pembroke Welsh Corgi Fanciers, because it was important to us to learn all we could about the Corgi. The club's mission is to preserve and protect the breed. We strongly recommend that whatever breed you live with, join your local club. Not only will you meet people who love their dogs as much as you do, but you will greatly improve the life you share with your favorite canine.
Family Tree My husband and I both come from military families that were relocated often during our childhoods. This contributed to our lack of "heirlooms" or a sense of "roots". Neither of us had much information about our ancestry. My daughter and I have been working on collecting as much information as possible and we are building our family tree. This is a work in progress so check back periodically to watch it grow. Please feel free to use this information in researching your own geneology. You might be surprised by what you find. We have learned that Bud is decended from Pocahonas.
